Cardano Dice

You can play dice with ADA, but at fewer venues than any major coin: of our four partners, Stake and Rainbet currently run Cardano dice. Where it works, deposits credit in 5 to 10 minutes at a fixed 0.17 ADA fee and the provably fair roll matches bitcoin exactly. This page maps the real acceptance picture.

Playing with bitcoin instead? BTC dice is covered on our homepage

Cardano is a strange fit for the dice table, and that is exactly why this page exists. ADA holders skew toward the hold-first, staking-first end of crypto; the community spent years earning 3 to 4% delegating to stake pools, not degening at casinos, and operators noticed. The result is thinner acceptance than the majors, but it is improving: of the four top casinos we track, Gamdom, Stake, and Rainbet currently run dice on ADA balances, with our number-one pick Gamdom leading on instant rakeback. Knowing which sites take it before you move funds saves the annoying loop of signing up somewhere, opening the cashier, and finding no ADA in the list.

When you do find a table, the coin behaves respectably: deposits credit in 5 to 10 minutes, the fee is a predictable 0.17 ADA (a formula, not an auction), and the roll is the identical provably fair game you get playing btc dice. This page maps where ADA actually works, the deposit mechanics, and honest bet sizing in a sub-dollar coin.

How Cardano Dice Works

Cardano dice is the standard provably fair casino game with ADA as the funding rail: a hashed server seed, your client seed, and a nonce generate each roll at the same 1% house edge as bitcoin dice. Staking plays no part.

Cardano's academic pedigree does not extend to the dice game, and that is fine: the roll is generated the same way for every coin at a provably fair casino. Before you bet, the site publishes a SHA-256 hash of its server seed. Your client seed and a per-bet nonce are combined with it through HMAC-SHA512, and the output maps to a roll between 0 and 99.99. Payout equals 99 divided by your chosen win chance, which fixes the house edge at 1% on the ADA table exactly as on the bitcoin one.

Nothing about Ouroboros, native staking, or eUTXO participates in any of this. Your ADA funds a database balance the moment the deposit credits, rolls execute off-chain at whatever speed you click (or auto-bet clicks for you), and the chain reappears only when you withdraw. One practical corollary: ADA sitting on a casino balance earns no staking rewards, so the idle-money cost of parking a large balance on site is real for this coin in a way it is not for most. Deposit what you intend to play.

Verification works identically to every coin on this hub: rotate your seed pair, then recompute any historical roll with our provably fair dice verifier. The full walkthrough lives in how provably fair dice works.

Depositing ADA for Dice

Send ADA to the addr1 address in the cashier; casinos credit after 15 to 30 blocks, about 5 to 10 minutes, for a fixed fee of roughly 0.17 ADA. Unstake exchange-staked coins first, and confirm the site lists ADA before sending.

ADA deposits are predictable once you know the rhythm:

  • Timing. Cardano produces a block roughly every 20 seconds, and casinos credit after 15 to 30 blocks, which works out to 5 to 10 minutes. Slower than the instant chains, comfortably faster than bitcoin.
  • Fees are formulaic. A standard transfer costs about 0.17 ADA, around a dime at typical prices. Cardano fees come from a fixed formula rather than a bidding market, so the cost never spikes on you the way Ethereum gas does.
  • Unstake first. Delegated ADA never leaves your wallet on Cardano, so it is spendable without an unbonding wait; but if your coins sit on an exchange staking program, expect an unstaking delay of hours to days before you can withdraw them to a casino.
  • Address format. Modern Shelley addresses start with addr1. There are no destination tags or network menus for native ADA; copy the cashier address and send.

The step people actually skip is the one this whole page is about: confirm the casino lists ADA in its dice cashier before sending anything. Acceptance is the coin's weak point, and the comparison table above reflects which of our partners currently support it.

Bet Sizing in ADA

At $0.60 per coin, 1.7 ADA makes roughly a $1.00 roll and minimums start near a cent of value. At the standard 1% edge, 1,000 rolls of 1.7 ADA carry an expected loss of about 17 ADA.

Unit math at a reference price of $0.60 per ADA (scale to the live price):

  • 1 ADA = about $0.60 per roll
  • 1.7 ADA = about $1.00 per roll
  • 17 ADA = about $10.00 per roll

Sub-dollar pricing keeps the numbers friendly: a 170 ADA bankroll (about $100) supports one hundred $1-equivalent flat bets with no long decimal strings. The expectation is the same as everywhere on this site: at a 1% house edge, 1,000 rolls of 1.7 ADA turn over 1,700 ADA and carry an expected loss of 17 ADA, about $10. No staking pattern, streak read, or seed ritual moves that number; only variance around it.

Two ADA-specific notes. First, the volatility warning applies in full: ADA has historically swung hard across market cycles, so your bankroll's dollar value between sessions is not stable, and you should keep score in one unit per session. Second, remember the opportunity cost from the section above: ADA on a casino balance is ADA not earning staking rewards. For a hold-first coin, the cleanest pattern is session-sized deposits and prompt withdrawals back to your staked wallet, a habit the modest 0.17 ADA fee makes affordable.

Cardano Dice vs BTC Dice

ADA deposits are faster and the fixed dime fee beats bitcoin's fee market, but BTC wins on acceptance, volatility, and ecosystem. Play ADA because you already hold it; choose a different rail if you are starting from scratch.

Rail against rail, with the same game on top:

Cardano diceBTC dice
Typical deposit time5 to 10 minutes10 to 60 minutes
Network feeAbout 0.17 ADA (about $0.10), fixed formulaUsually $1 to $10, market driven
VolatilityHigh across cyclesModerate to high

Idle-money costForgone staking rewardsNone

ADA wins on deposit speed and on fee predictability; a dime that is always a dime beats a fee market you have to time. Bitcoin wins everywhere else that matters: it is accepted at every casino on earth, it is less volatile, and the entire dice ecosystem is denominated in it, as our bitcoin dice homepage lays out. Our honest read: play ADA dice because you already hold ADA and want the convenience, not because the rail itself earns the pick. If you are choosing a coin from scratch for cheap fast deposits, litecoin dice or the TRON rail serve that brief better.

Where ADA Dice Is Actually Accepted

Among our four top partners, Gamdom, Stake, and Rainbet currently accept ADA for dice, with number-one pick Gamdom leading on instant rakeback; Roobet is the one that does not list it. Cardano's hold-and-stake culture keeps casino flow thin, so always re-check a cashier before your first deposit.

Acceptance is the ADA story, so here it is precisely. Among the four top casinos in our comparison set, three currently run dice on ADA balances: Gamdom, our number-one pick, which pairs ADA play with instant rakeback from the first roll; Stake, which has carried Cardano for years across its whole game library; and Rainbet, the newest of our partners, which included ADA in its wide launch lineup. Roobet is the one that does not list it in its dice cashier at the time of this update. That is a 75% hit rate against the coins at the top of this hub, which clear all four.

Why the gap? Operators list coins their players actually deposit, and Cardano's culture works against it: a community that measures success in staking yield and long holds generates less casino flow per holder than a TRON or DOGE crowd. Thin flow means some operators never bother with the integration, and a few that tried quietly delisted. This is also why you should treat any third-party "sites that accept ADA" list, including ours, as a snapshot: re-check the cashier before every first deposit, because delistings do not come with announcements.

If your preferred site lacks ADA, you have two honest options. Swap to a universally accepted coin (on-site conversion or an exchange trade into LTC or ETH costs little) or follow the table above to a partner that takes Cardano natively. What we do not recommend is a third-party instant-swap service mid-deposit; every extra hop adds spread, and the whole point of playing in your own coin is skipping those costs.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can I play dice with Cardano? +
Yes, but check acceptance first: among our four top partner sites, Gamdom, Stake, and Rainbet currently run dice on ADA balances. Where it is offered, the game is the same provably fair roll as the bitcoin table.
Which dice sites accept ADA? +
From our comparison set, Gamdom, Stake, and Rainbet take Cardano for dice, with Gamdom ranked first overall; Roobet is the one that does not list it at the moment. Coin lists change without notice, so confirm ADA appears in the cashier before sending funds.
How long do ADA dice deposits take? +
About 5 to 10 minutes. Cardano produces a block roughly every 20 seconds and casinos credit after 15 to 30 blocks. The network fee is fixed at about 0.17 ADA, so cost never depends on timing.
Is Cardano dice provably fair? +
Yes, at provably fair casinos the ADA game uses the same hashed server seed, client seed, and nonce construction as every other coin. Rotate your seeds and verify any past roll with our free dice verifier.
Do I earn staking rewards on ADA sitting at a casino? +
No. Casino balances are pooled custodial funds, not delegated stake, so ADA parked on site earns nothing. Deposit only what you plan to play and withdraw promptly; the 0.17 ADA fee makes frequent withdrawals affordable.
