BTC Dice Calculator

Three calculators every dice player needs: the chance-to-payout solver, the real house edge finder, and the martingale bust model. All math runs live in your browser.

1. Win Chance ↔ Payout Multiplier

Edit either side; the other solves from multiplier = (100 - edge) / chance.

2. What Is This Site's Real House Edge?

Take any dice site's advertised win chance and payout for one bet, and see what edge you are actually paying.

3. Martingale Bust Probability

How long does your bankroll survive doubling on loss? The model estimates the chance of hitting a bankroll-ending losing streak.

The math behind the calculator

Bitcoin dice payouts follow one formula: multiplier = (100 - house edge) / win chance. At the standard 1% edge, a 49.50% chance pays 2.0000x and a 10% chance pays 9.9x. Any site paying less than the formula for the same chance is charging a bigger edge; panel 2 exposes that instantly.

The martingale model computes the longest losing streak your bankroll can absorb, k = floor(log(1 + B/b x (m - 1)) / log(m)), then computes the exact probability of at least one k-long losing streak inside your planned number of rounds using the run-length recurrence, not a shortcut. Shortcuts matter here: for a 10-loss wall across 1,000 rolls the true bust chance is 41.3%, while common windowed approximations return anywhere from 10% to 65%. Our martingale guide cross-checks these numbers against brute-force simulation.

No calculator changes the expected value: every bet at a 1% edge costs 1% of the wager in the long run, whatever the staking pattern. That is exactly why we publish these tools next to our responsible gambling resources.

Calculator FAQ

How do I calculate a btc dice payout? +
Divide (100 minus the house edge) by your win chance. A 25% chance at a 1% edge pays 99 / 25 = 3.96x. Panel 1 does this live in both directions.
What house edge is normal for bitcoin dice? +
1% is the industry standard. A few sites run lower (0.8% exists), and anything meaningfully above 1% on a plain dice game is expensive. Check any site with panel 2 before depositing.
Can martingale beat the house edge? +
No. Martingale changes the shape of your results, many small wins and occasional catastrophic losses, but the expected loss stays edge times total wagered. Panel 3 shows how likely the catastrophic part is for your exact settings.
Is this calculator accurate for every dice site? +
The payout and edge formulas are universal, and the martingale bust probability is computed with the exact run-length recurrence, verified against Monte Carlo simulation. Real-world results still depend on site rounding rules and your discipline in following the progression.
