A regular die has six faces, so no physical throw can land on 100: even 16 dice max out at 96. BTC dice does not use dice at all. Each roll is a single number from 0.00 to 99.99 drawn from cryptographic math, and you choose your own win range on that scale, from a coin-flip 49.5% down to a 0.01% long shot. That precision, and the ability to verify every roll, is impossible with physical dice.
