Bitcoin Cash Dice

BCH dice gives you the bitcoin experience at a fraction of the cost: same 10-minute blocks and provably fair roll, but transfers under a cent instead of several dollars. Acceptance is the trade-off, with Stake the one partner site currently running it. Here is the full picture: where to play, deposit timing, and BCH bet sizing.

Playing with bitcoin instead? BTC dice is covered on our homepage

BCH dice occupies an unusual spot: it is the closest experience to bitcoin dice you can buy at a tiny fraction of the fee. Bitcoin Cash forked from bitcoin in 2017 specifically to keep on-chain payments cheap, and it delivered; a BCH transfer costs well under a cent while a bitcoin deposit routinely costs dollars. Same address style, same UTXO mechanics, same 10-minute block rhythm, but casinos credit BCH after just 1 or 2 confirmations, so the practical wait is often shorter than for BTC itself.

The coin also carries real dice heritage. SatoshiDice, the original on-chain dice game, migrated to Bitcoin Cash when bitcoin fees made micro-bets impossible, and the bch.games era built a dedicated dice audience on the chain. The catch in 2026 is acceptance: among our four partners, only Stake currently runs dice on BCH balances. This page covers that landscape honestly, plus deposits, bet sizing, and where BCH beats its bigger sibling.

How BCH Dice Works

BCH dice is the standard provably fair game funded over the Bitcoin Cash rail. A hashed server seed, your client seed, and a nonce generate every roll, and the payout math carries the same 1% house edge as bitcoin dice.

The dice game itself does not know it is being fed Bitcoin Cash. At a provably fair casino, every roll comes from the same construction regardless of coin: the site publishes a SHA-256 hash of its server seed before you bet, you set a client seed, a nonce counts your bets, and HMAC-SHA512 over those three inputs yields a roll from 0 to 99.99. Pick your win chance, and the payout is 99 divided by that chance, which is where the 1% house edge lives.

Everything verifiable about the bitcoin version is equally verifiable here. Rotate your seed pair to reveal the old server seed, then recompute any past roll with our provably fair dice verifier; if the recomputed number matches your bet history, the site provably did not tamper with results. The full cryptographic walkthrough is in how provably fair dice works.

Worth noting for BCH specifically: because the coin trades at a small fraction of bitcoin's price, your balance displays in far friendlier numbers. A $50 bankroll is a readable 0.1 BCH rather than a string of leading zeros, which makes bet slips and profit tracking noticeably easier to parse at a glance during fast sessions.

Depositing BCH for Dice

Send BCH to the CashAddr address in the cashier; sites credit after 1 to 2 confirmations, about 10 to 20 minutes. Fees run under $0.01, so small and frequent deposits cost effectively nothing to move.

BCH deposits behave like bitcoin deposits with the pain removed:

  • Confirmations. Casinos typically credit BCH dice deposits after 1 to 2 confirmations. Blocks arrive every 10 minutes on average, so plan for 10 to 20 minutes from broadcast to bettable balance.
  • Fees round to zero. A standard transfer costs well under $0.01. Bitcoin Cash blocks are large and rarely full, so there is no fee market to time and no priority-fee guesswork.
  • Mind the address format. BCH uses CashAddr addresses, usually shown with a bitcoincash: prefix or starting with q. Legacy-format BCH addresses look identical to bitcoin addresses, which is the classic way people send BCH to a BTC wallet or vice versa. Always use the CashAddr format the casino cashier displays, and double-check which coin your exchange withdrawal page has selected.
  • Small deposits are viable. With no meaningful fee floor, moving $10 at a time on and off the site is perfectly rational, unlike on the bitcoin rail where fees devour small transfers.

The cross-chain mistake is the only real hazard. Funds sent to the wrong chain are sometimes recoverable because BCH and BTC share key formats, but recovery depends entirely on the receiving platform's goodwill and often carries a service fee.

Bet Sizing in BCH

At $500 per coin, 0.002 BCH is about a $1.00 roll and minimum bets start near one cent of value. Turning over 1 BCH at the standard 1% edge carries an expected loss of 0.01 BCH regardless of staking pattern.

Unit math at a reference price of $500 per BCH (scale to the live price):

  • 0.0002 BCH = about $0.10 per roll
  • 0.002 BCH = about $1.00 per roll
  • 0.02 BCH = about $10.00 per roll

Minimum bets start around a cent of value, so even 0.02 BCH (about $10) funds a long flat-betting session. The expectation math never changes: at a 1% house edge, turning over 1 BCH across any number of rolls costs an expected 0.01 BCH, about $5, and no staking pattern shifts that average. What varies is the ride, and that is a function of your win chance: 49.50% at 2x keeps swings small, 1% at 99x means long droughts between hits. Size down as your multiplier goes up.

On volatility, BCH sits in the same weather system as the rest of crypto: your bankroll's dollar value moves between sessions. It is historically less twitchy than meme coins but can still swing several percent in a day. Track your results in one unit, BCH or dollars, and pick it before the session starts. If you want a bankroll that holds its dollar value exactly, that is the stablecoin case we cover on the USDT dice page.

BCH Dice vs BTC Dice

Identical game, radically different fees: BCH moves for under a cent while bitcoin deposits usually cost dollars, and BCH credits after just 1 to 2 confirmations. Bitcoin wins on acceptance, since every casino lists it and BCH support has thinned.

This is the most direct comparison on the whole coin hub, because BCH is bitcoin's own fork:

The fee gap is the entire argument for BCH, and it is a strong one: a fee under a cent versus a few dollars means small deposits, frequent withdrawals, and cautious test transfers all become free. The argument against is acceptance. Bitcoin works everywhere; BCH support has thinned at mainstream crypto casinos, and if your preferred site does not list it, the cheapest coin in the world does not help you. Our btc dice homepage covers the bitcoin side, including why it remains the default despite the fees.

The SatoshiDice Lineage: Why BCH Dice Endures

SatoshiDice, the original on-chain bitcoin dice game, migrated to Bitcoin Cash when BTC fees killed micro-betting, and the bch.games era built on that. The heritage gives bch dice a loyal audience even as mainstream acceptance narrows.

Bitcoin Cash has a stronger claim on dice history than almost any alt. SatoshiDice, the 2012 game that at one point accounted for more than half of all bitcoin transactions, worked by betting directly on-chain: you sent coins to an address and the blockchain itself returned your winnings. Rising bitcoin fees killed that model on BTC, and SatoshiDice moved to Bitcoin Cash, where sub-cent fees kept true on-chain betting economically possible. The later bch.games era carried the same idea forward and gave BCH a dedicated dice audience that still searches for "bch dice" today.

That on-chain lineage matters less practically now (modern casinos run rolls off-chain against your site balance) but it explains the coin's persistent identity: BCH is what bitcoin dice looked like before fees, and players who grinded that era still prefer the rail. It is also why the acceptance picture is lumpy. Dice-first and payments-focused platforms kept BCH; newer casino brands increasingly skipped it in favor of chains like Solana and TRON. Among our partners that leaves Stake, which runs its full dice game on BCH balances with the same limits and 1% edge as every other coin. Check the comparison table above before depositing anywhere else; sending BCH to a casino that quietly dropped it is a support-ticket morning you do not need.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can I play dice with Bitcoin Cash? +
Yes, though at fewer sites than the majors. Among our four partners, Stake currently accepts BCH and runs its full provably fair dice game on it, with the same 1% house edge and limits as its other coins.
Which dice sites accept BCH? +
From our comparison set, Stake is the site that takes Bitcoin Cash for dice. Roobet, Gamdom, and Rainbet do not list it at the moment. Always confirm the coin appears in a cashier before sending funds anywhere.
How long do BCH dice deposits take? +
Usually 10 to 20 minutes. Bitcoin Cash produces a block every 10 minutes on average and casinos credit after 1 to 2 confirmations, which is typically faster than the 1 to 3 confirmations plus fee delays common on bitcoin.
Is BCH dice provably fair? +
Yes. The roll comes from a hashed server seed, your client seed, and a nonce, exactly as on the bitcoin table. Rotate your seeds and recheck any past roll independently with our free dice verifier tool.
Why do people play BCH dice instead of BTC dice? +
Fees. A BCH transfer costs under one cent against several dollars on bitcoin, which makes small deposits and frequent withdrawals economical. The coin also carries dice heritage: SatoshiDice itself moved to Bitcoin Cash when bitcoin fees rose.
